Join

Our membership consists of 30 households from within the Cornell neighbourhoods. The garden follows a communal model, in which the entire garden and the work involved, such as watering and weeding, are shared amongst members according to an assigned schedule.


The Garden is managed by a volunteer committee, recruited from the member base on an annual basis. At this time, our committee consists of the following roles:

  • Coordinator
  • Treasurer
  • Fundraising  Coordinator
  • Event Planning
  • Communications
  • Secretary
  • Horticulturalist 
  • Membership Coordinator
  • Children's Garden Coordinator


Note: Membership remains open for the 2018 Season. If you are interested in joining please contact our Member Coordinator at cornellcommunitygarden@gmail.com. Membership priority is given first to returning members, then to individuals willing to join the garden committee, and then to other individuals on the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.
